Meet Shady Grove Fertility Top Doc, Michael J. Levy, M.D., UK Programme Director
Michael Levy, M.D., is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and co-founder of Shady Grove Fertility. In 1993, Dr. Levy pioneered the IVF Shared Risk 100% Refund Programme with the goal of helping more couples afford the treatment they needed by guaranteeing treatment success or their money back. In 2006, he tackled the challenge of making donor egg treatment more affordable to more people by creating the unique Shared Donor Programme and reducing the cost treatment by 50 percent without compromising success rates and providing immediate access to donor eggs. In 2007, Dr. Levy started the International Donor Egg Programme at Shady Grove Fertility to provide a simple, streamlined and affordable option to patients outside the U.S. who required donor egg treatment. Since the programme began, over 150 patients have traveled from the UK to Shady Grove Fertility to help build their families.
What Patients Are Saying about Dr. Levy
“Dr. Levy is amazing! From his initial phone consultation, I knew he was a great doctor. He was so easy to talk to and answered all of our questions and more. In fact, he even encouraged us to get second opinions. He has obvious experience and I give him my highest recommendation.”
“We feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Levy. He is a wonderfully gifted doctor and so very calm and reassuring throughout the process. We are currently 5 months pregnant and have had such a positive experience with SGF.”

What Patients Are Saying about Dr. Doyle
“I recommend Dr. Doyle to everyone! I was at such a low point by the time I met him, and from our very first meeting, he made me hopeful, he made me feel understood, and he listened to me put all my ‘crazy’ out on the table. He responded to every concern I had, no matter how trivial. He is always patient, and took so much time with my husband and me. He went above and beyond.”
“My husband and I couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience during a difficult time in our lives. Dr. Doyle always took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure we felt comfortable with all decisions and all our questions were answered. He is very caring and thorough. We, together with our newborn daughter give him our highest recommendation.”
By providing uncompromising service, creating better access to care with affordable financial options, and delivering truly personalised care, SGF has reached another significant milestone in 2017 and is celebrating 50,000 babies born since the centre first opened its doors in 1991.
